Service Porter / Valet - Gullo Mazda of Conroe

Weekday Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday Shift: 7:00am - 4:00PM (Saturday availability required)

Our dealership has an immediate opening for a reliable, customer-focused Service Porter / Valet. This role is critical to the daily flow of our service department and the overall customer experience. The right candidate will take pride in keeping our service drive organized, supporting technicians and advisors, and ensuring every customer is greeted promptly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Drive Management

• Greet every customer within 1 minute of arrival on the service drive
• Assist with initial check-in and escort customers to the appropriate Service Advisor
• Clearly communicate and provide accurate mileage and VIN information at time of handoff
• Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude at all times
• Keep the service drive organized, safe, and free of congestion

Vehicle Handling

• Park and retrieve customer vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies regarding vehicle care and operation
• Assist with moving inoperable vehicles as needed
• Immediately report any vehicle damage or concerns to management

Shop & Facility Support

• Assist technicians with daily tasks, including:
• Taking out trash
• Cleaning shop floors and work areas
• Perform end-of-day cleaning of the service drive (sweep, remove debris, organize lanes)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service department and surrounding areas

General Duties

• Install license plates and replace bulbs when needed
• Assist customers with transferring personal items as needed
• Keep management informed of waiting customers or any issues impacting service flow
• Attend department meetings and follow all dealership policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (must be insurable)
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred
• Strong work ethic and ability to stay active throughout the shift
• Comfortable working outdoors and in a fast-paced environment
• Must be available to work every Saturday (7:00AM - 4:00PM shift)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
